2010 Oslo Freedom Forum

The Oslo Freedom Forum brought together some of the world’s leading minds to honor heroic survivors of political oppression & persecution. The conference showcased the testimonies and noble purpose of these men and women. Lee’s music was used to introduce each speaker.

Based on the short story "Harrison Bergeron" by celebrated author Kurt Vonnegut, 2081 depicts a dystopian future in which, thanks to the 212th Amendment to the Constitution and the unceasing vigilance of the United States Handicapper General, everyone is finally equal.

Lee’s music will soon be coming to iTunes and Amazon’s MP3 Store. First to be published will be his 2nd and 3rd String Quartets, comissioned for the 2010 Oslo Freedom Forum, and performed by ETHEL String Quartet. Also, the 2081 team is currently in negotiations with Kronos Quartet to release the 2081 soundtrack. More on that to come soon!
